Welcome to the Top 1% Sellers Factory Podcast. Our focus is on high-tech sales professionals around the world, and in this preview episode, I'm going to share the reasons why we're launching this podcast. My name is Ash Seddeek, and I recently left Cisco where I had been working for about 9 years with the top 1% sales account managers, service teams, SEs and product sales specialists - some of the top sales team members in the world. What we tried to do there was to take a look at top sellers' behaviors (i.e., the top 1% sellers' behaviors) and understand how we could replicate these sellers' behaviors across account types and, of course, strategically look at particular accounts to make sure we had the right coverage.

​My belief is that a lot of high-tech companies can benefit from such thinking and such thought leadership when it comes to how we can make sure we service our customers in the best way possible. This service really starts by putting the right sales account teams on these accounts. The goal with the Top 1% Sellers Factory Podcast is to complement the efforts that my firm, the Top 1% Sellers Factory, which is a training and consulting services company focusing on the high-tech industry, provides to its clients.

​My goal is to help you find the key behaviors that make the 99% difference for top 1% sellers. My hope with this podcast is to talk to a number of sales leaders from the high-tech industry and other top 1% sellers. We'll also talk to analysts and sales training experts who are keeping an eye on the changes taking place in technology and technology consumption and how this is affecting the sales conversation; the solutions and offers you provide to your customers; the way you collaborate with the company you work for, your customer organization and the partner organization; and how you create the right solution mix for your customers. We'll discuss how all of these changes are influencing the sales process and what customers expect from you in a sales conversation given the abundance of information they have at their fingertips these days and all the different options for technology solutions and business solutions that they can tap into.
